Dozens of Saudi-backed militants were reportedly killed on Tuesday as Yemeni forces carried out a series of deadly attacks.
According to the Yemen Press Agency, the attacks targeted militant positions in Yemen’s Taiz, Jawf and Bayda provinces.
An unspecified number of the Saudi-backed fighters were also reported injured during the assault.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the resigned regime of Hadi back to power and crushing the country’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement.
