The Yemeni army and popular committees reportedly shelled militia positions in Saudi Arabia’s southern Najran region on Monday.
According to the Yemen Press Agency, the Saudi-backed fighters were targeted in the al-Sauh area of the province.
The agency also reported similar attacks against the Saudi-backed militants in the Yemeni province of Hajjah and Marib.
Meanwhile, dozens of militants were reported killed in Jawf province after Yemeni forces launched an assault there.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the resigned regime of Hadi back to power and crushing the country’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement.
