The United Nations accused the Saudi-led coalition of committing possible war crimes in Yemen.
In a report released on Tuesday, the UN explains that there was "little evidence of any attempt ... to minimize civilian casualties."
The report also concludes that the most direct civilian casualties in the war were caused by the coalition and that a blockade of Yemeni ports and airspace may amount to a violation of international humanitarian law.
Attacks by the coalition have targeted weddings and hospitals, as well as water and electricity plants, killing and wounding thousands of Yemeni civilians.
In recent weeks, two separate airstrikes killed dozens of children in the provinces of Hodeida and Saad’a.
The coalition, which groups a number of Arab states including Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, launched its military campaign against Yemen in March 2015.
