Well-informed sources in Yemen denied on Saturday the rumors circulated by the coalition mass media about a Saudi parachute landing fall in the province of Saada, northeast of Yemen’s capital of Sanaa.
"There wasn’t any PLF by any force in Saada," the source said.
"Any such action is a suicide," he said, hinting at the expected retaliation by the national forces of the Yemeni army and the Popular Committees.
Earlier, a pro-Saudi aggression website reported that the Saudi forces had carried out a parachute landing fall over the Raghat mountain in Saada province, and circulated fake images of the attack.
A Saudi-led coalition backed by the United States has been carrying out a military aggression on Yemen by launching airstrikes against the country since March. The airstrikes have not been authorized by the United Nations [UN].
