Yemeni Army Spokesperson Threatens Riyadh With More Surprises Following Aramco Drone Strike

Yemeni army spokesman Brigadier General Sharaf Ghaleb Luqman announced the start of a new phase in deterring the Saudi-led military campaign against his country following Wednesday’s drone strike on an Aramco oil refinery in Riyadh.

In a phone interview with Yemen’s Al-Massira channel, Luqman also warned of other surprises in the coming days.

Yemeni forces used an unmanned aerial vehicle against the oil refinery in what marks the first attack of its kind.

Previous operations in retaliation to the Saudi-led war on Yemen usually came in the form of cross border raids and missile strikes.
