Mohammed Ali al-Houthi: Aramco Drone Attack Successful Breach of Saudi Air Defenses

The chief of Yemen’s Supreme Revolutionary Committee Mohammed Ali al-Houthi applauded this week’s drone strike on Saudi oil giant Aramco, describing it as a successful breach of Riyadh’s air defenses and electronic capabilities.
In a post on his Twitter page, al-Houthi stated that the attack was a victory ‘by all standards’.
On Wednesday, Yemeni forces attacked an Aramco oil refinery in Riyadh using an unmanned aerial vehicle.
Although Yemeni forces regularly attack positions inside Saudi Arabia in retaliation to the Saudi-led war on Yemen, the most recent operation was the first of its kind since the start of the conflict in March 2015.
