Six People Killed in 47 Saudi-led Airstrikes Over the Weekend

Six people were killed and five others wounded in 47 Saudi-led coalition air strikes and missile attacks on Yemeni provinces over the weekend, a Yemeni official told the state-run news agency Saba on Sunday.

In Hodeida province, five people were killed and two others wounded in 17 Saudi-led air strikes on Zabaid, al-Duriehmie and al-Hali districts. In Mawait province, one person was killed and two others injured in two air strikes on a farm in Malhan district.

In Saada province, coalition fighter jets launched 19 air raids on several districts including Baqim, Saher, Kutaf and al-Safra. Also in Saada, the Saudi artillery and rockets targeted residential areas of Razih and Saqin, wounding one person.

In Sana’a province, two air raids hit Nehm district. In Jizan province, three strikes targeted military sites in the Tawailq Mountain.

The coalition air force also struck al-Talah and al-Shurfa sites in Najran province five times, the official added.
