The Yemeni army launched a missile and artillery bombardment at Saudi military positions in Jizan region overnight, a military official told the state-run news agency Saba on Friday.
The attack targeted Saudi troops and militias backed by the Saudi-led coalition in Qulal al-Shibani as well as at the northern Khoba and Malhama sites, inflicting heavy losses on them.
Late on Thursday, the army detonated two explosive devices and destroyed two military vehicles belonging to the Saudi soldiers in west of Sudais site in Najran region.
