Four Saudi soldiers were killed along the country's border with war-torn Yemen, according to the official Saudi Arabian news agency SPA.
Beyond saying they died while "performing their patriotic duty," no additional information was given on the time or circumstances of their death.
Yemen has been dogged by violence and chaos since 2014.
In 2015, Saudi Arabia and its Sunni-Arab allies launched a massive military campaign in Yemen aimed at rolling back Houthi gains and forcefully bringing back to power the resigned Hadi regime.
As a result of the Saudi-led aggression, tens of thousands have been killed and wounded while many more are displaced. The countries infrastructure has also been devastated, while the UN labeled the country’s Cholera epidemic as the worst in living memory.
