The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Sunday affirmed its keenness to provide emergency aid to Yemen in the health field.

The remark came during the ICRC Health delegate’s visit to Mahmit province where an ICRC official inspected the needs of the Republic hospital and dialysis center at the province.

The official was briefed by the deputy governor Hamud Shamlan and head of a health of the problems and difficulties suffered by the health facilities as a result of the Saudi-led war and the coalition’s all-out blockade.

The Yemeni officials also praised the ICRC’s efforts and its support for the dialysis center and the cholera and diphtheria treatment centers at the hospital.
