Saudi-led coalition fighter jets continued targeting several areas across Yemen.

The US-backed Saudi-led warplanes launched Wednesday three raids on Houth city of Amran province, a local official told the state-run news agency Saba.

The airstrikes hit a bridge in the main road of the city, according to the official.

Saudi fighter jets also launched another three air raids on Hodeida province Saba reported.

The raids targeted al-Jrahy district, causing huge damage to public and private properties. Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 13,000 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
