A Criminal Court in the Yemeni capital Sana’a has sentenced Hamid Mirza Kamali Srostani, a Yemeni citizen, to death.
Srostani is accused of communicating with the Zionist entity and carrying out acts affecting the security and independence of Yemen.
The criminal prosecution accused Srostani, who holds both UAE and Iranian citizenship, was also accused of establishing a national homeland for Bahai on the Yemeni island of Socotra as well as counterfeiting official documents and editorials.
The court ordered the confiscation of Srostani’s funds and the seizure of all real estate in favor of the state treasury.
