A car bombing claimed by the so-called "Daesh" ["ISIL"] extremist group exploded outside a mosque in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, killing three people on Wednesday.
The blast exploded near a mosque and not far from Ath-Thawra Hospital in the Rammah district of Sanaa.
The terrorist group also claimed responsibility for a bombing on June 29, which reportedly killed nearly 30 people in the Yemeni capital. The "Daesh" militants also claimed a June 20 car bombing against Qubat al-Mahdi Mosque in the Yemeni capital, which killed three people and wounded 16 others.
The Wednesday bombing in the capital comes as the crisis in Yemen continues unabated with Saudi Arabia bombarding different areas in the country.
A Saudi-led coalition backed by the United States has been carrying out airstrikes against Yemen since March. The airstrikes have not been authorized by the UN.
