Since March 26, 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been launching deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in Yemen in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
More than 14,000 people have been killed since the onset of the military campaign and much of the country’s infrastructure, including hospitals, schools and factories, has been ravaged.
Most of those killed were innocent civilians, including women and children.
The Saudi war has also triggered a deadly cholera epidemic across Yemen.
