A Saudi military plane loaded with arms for "fighters" loyal to Yemen’s fugitive president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, landed at Aden airport in Yemen on Wednesday, an airport official said, in the first flight in four months since March when the Saudi aggression started.

"A Saudi military plane landed at Aden airport this afternoon carrying weapons and military assistance..., in the first flight there since March 25," the airport official said.

A US-led Saudi military aggression against Yemen began on March 26 in an attempt to bring Yemen’s fugitive former president, Hadi, who is a close ally of Saudi Arabia, back to power, and to weaken the Houthi Ansarullah movement which is currently responding to the attacks on Yemen.

Meanwhile, a Saudi-led coalition backed by the United States has also been carrying out airstrikes against Yemen since March 26. The airstrikes have not been authorized by the UN.
