The border fronts between Saudi Arabia and Yemen witnessed a major military escalation by Yemeni army forces and the Popular Committees.
The artillery units of the Yemeni army and the Popular Committees continued targeting the positions of the Saudi army in the front of Jizan and Najran.
A military source confirmed to the news website NewNews that the artillery units of Yemeni army and popular committees targeted a group of Saudi led troops near the port of Al-Khadra in Jizan.
In Najran, a military source said the artillery units of Yemeni army and the popular committees targeted the fortifications of the Saudi army at the site of the Malhamah and gatherings of the Saudi army at the site of the Al-Qarn.
The source added that the heroes of the missile force hit the Al-Mouniq in Najran with a number of Katyusha rockets and incurred the deaths and injuries in the ranks of the Saudi army.
According to the source, the artillery force continued shelling the sites of the al-Mushaniq, Dukhan and Baydha while ambulances were seen rushing to the sites.
