Saudi Fighter Jets Continue Bombarding Several Yemeni Province

The US-backed Saudi warplanes and their mercenaries continued launching airstrikes targeting civilians as well as private and public properties in Yemeni several provinces over the past hours, a military official told the state-run news agency Saba on Wednesday.

A civilian was killed by the mercenaries' fire in Al Batan area of al Maton district of Jawf province.

Meanwhile, the Saudi warplanes launched two raids on Al Buqa area and two others on Al Amarah area of Kutaf district of Saada province. Three raids hit Al Makhdarah area in Serwah district of Marib province.

Moreover, the fighter jets hit Atan area and Al Nahdin Mountain in the capital of Sana’a twice, and launched a strike on Al Sawda hilltop in Nehm district of Sana’a province, the official added.

Saudi Arabia has been leading a destructive military campaign against Yemen since March 2015 to reinstate former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and crush the Houthi movement.

The campaign has seriously damaged the country’s infrastructure. Local Yemeni sources have put the death toll from the Saudi war at over 12,000, including many women and children.
