The Yemeni army backed by the country’s popular committees carried out fresh attacks against Saudi forces and their proxies.
A Saudi armored vehicle was destroyed in Hawzan after being struck with an improvised explosive device (IED). Another two armored vehicles were destroyed in al-Mukha, west of Taiz with anti-tank guided missiles, killing and wounding Saudi-backed militants.
Yemeni fighters also targeted the Saudi Army in the Salb mountain in Nahm, along with Saudi military sites in Wadi Namla in Harib al-Qaramish.
The attacks come in retaliation to Saudi Arabia’s ongoing military campgaine against Yemen, which has killed over 12,000 people since March 2015.
