The General Headquarters (GHQ) of the UAE Armed Forces announced that Hassan Abdullah Mohammed Al Bishir was killed in Yemen.
The soldier was taking part in Saudi-led military operations in the country, which have resulted in the deaths of over 12,000 Yemenis.
Bishir is the latest in a long list of Saudi and Emirati soldiers to be killed in a conflict described by many observers as a brutal affair that is indiscriminately targeting civilians and starving the population.
