The Spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces Brigadier General Sharaf Ghaleb Luqman said that the US strike on Syria exposes how false flag attacks and human rights slogans are employed to further the Zionist regional agenda.
US warships fired dozens of cruise missiles against a Syrian airbase in Homs following allegations by western powers and the mainstream media that the Damascus government used chemical weapons in Idlib. The unfounded claims quickly dismissed by Damascus and its allies were used to justify Friday’s attack.
According to Luqman the latest escalation of the Syrian conflict is designed to undermine the Arab sovereignty, unity and dignity.
The Yemeni military official explained that the “US/Zionist aggression” has the same objectives in Syria, Yemen and any other regional country that it targets.
