Saudi-backed militants in Yemen’s Marib province have suffered significant losses following an attack by the Yemeni army and the country’s popular committees, which includes the Houthi Ansarullah movement.
That’s according to local media, which is reporting an extensive military operation in Marib’s Harib Qaramish, where militant positions in the mountains of Fatim and Salib where targeted by heavy shelling.
Citing a military source, media reports say that scores of militants were killed and much of their armaments were destroyed.
Similar operations are becoming a lot more frequent across Yemen and in Saudi Arabia’s southern provinces as Yemeni forces retaliate for the ongoing bombardment of their country.
