Saudi Warplanes Strike Yemen’s Capital

Local Editor

More Saudi missiles rained-down on the Yemeni capital overnight.

According to the country’s official news agency Saudi warplanes struck Sanaa’s Sanhan district.

Another strike was reported in the city’s Dhabwah area, which caused collateral damage.

There was no immediate word on casualties.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

Over12,000 people have been killed since Riyadh launched its airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s infrastructure.

Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as inside Saudi Arabia itself.
