Hundreds of Bahrainis took to the streets over the weekend to condemn the Saudi-led military campaign against Yemen.
Protesters called for an immediate end to the massacre of Yemeni civilians. Many carried placards that read “Stop Killing Yemeni Children.”
The Manama regime, which is facing growing dissent across the Persian Gulf kingdom is a member of the Saudi-led coalition.
Saudi Arabia has been leading a destructive military campaign against Yemen since March 2015 to reinstate former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and crush the Houthi movement.
The campaign has seriously damaged the country’s infrastructure. Local Yemeni sources have put the death toll at over 12,000, including many women and children.
