Residents in Dhamar province organized a protest rally to condemn the US-backed Saudi war crimes in Yemen.
During the rally, held on Wednesday, the participants stressed on the keenness to supple the battle front lines to face the US-Saudi aggression and thwart its plans that aim to bring the Yemeni people to thier knees.
The protesters called the United Nations and the Security Council to fulfill their obligations to stop US-Saudi aggression and lift the blockade on Sana'a International Airport and Hodeida port.
Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
About 11,403 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
