Turkey, France Aim to Prevent Agreement in UN-backed Talks on Yemen

Turkey and France are making attempts in Switzerland’s city of Geneva to prevent any agreement between participants in the UN-backed talks on Yemen.

Al-Mayadeen TV reported that the Turkish and French diplomats present in Geneva are rocking the boat to block any progress in the talks between the Yemeni groups.

The UN-backed peace talks aimed at finding a solution to end the deadly Saudi aggression against Yemen will reportedly continue until Saturday.

This is while Saudi Arabia is still pushing ahead with its military aggression against Yemen.

The US-led Saudi military aggression against Yemen began on March 26 -- without a UN mandate -- in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement, and to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, who is a close ally of Saudi Arabia.
