Saudi aggression fighter jets launched 20 air strikes overnight on Saada province, an official told Yemen’s news agency, Saba, on Thursday.

A total of 18 raids hit civilian targets in al-Baha, Manabh, Mafrak Moura, al-Zamah Kairi and Hanjer areas in Bakam district alone.

Moreover, an air strike targeted Kahlan in the outskirts of Saada’s provincial capital city and other hit al-Azakoul area in Saher district, the official said.

The air strikes damaged private and public properties, as well residents’ houses.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
