Air Raids by Saudi Coalition Target Yemeni Areas

Fresh Saudi-led coalition airstrikes targeted several areas across Yemen.

The Saudi warplanes on Thursday launched several air raids on the capital Sana’a, a local official in Bani al-Hareth district said.

The Saudi-led aggression targeted al-Sundair Commercial Factories Group in Al-Matar Street in Bani al-Hareth district with five air raids.

The Saudi warplanes also waged raids on Belad al-Arous district of Sana’a province.

The fighter jets targeted Naqeel Yasleh area in the district with two airstrike, causing huge damage to the main road as well as public and private properties.

A series of air raids also struck Nehm district of Jawf province.

A local official stated that the fighter jets hit several areas in the district with 12 air raids causing huge damage to agricultural land and citizens’ properties.

Coalition aircraft launched several airstrikes on al-Ghail district of Jawf province.

Two strikes targeted al-Maqate’a and al-Arodhi areas, causing huge damage to citizens’ houses and properties.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
