Saudi-led coalition warplanes on Thursday launched several airstrikes against several Yemeni areas.

The Saudi warplanes launched a series of air raids on Jawf province, a local official said.

The raids targeted houses and farms in al-Ghail and al-Arodhi villages in the district causing huge damage to them, the official added.

Meanwhile, two women and three children were injured in a Saudi air raid on Belad al-Rous district of Sana’a province.

The airstrike targeted al-Dhula’a area, destroying a house, burning a car and damaging dozens of houses in the area.

Also, two air raids hit Nehm district of Sana’a province, a local official said.

The strikes targeted al-Majaweha area causing damage to agricultural farms.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
