Saudi-led Coalition Airstrikes Hit Areas in Yemen

The Saudi war jets waged on Tuesday a series of air raids on several areas of Sa’ada province, a security official said.

The official added the airstrikes targeted a house in al-Souda area in Baqem border district. The house was completely destroyed.

Five raids targeted al-Buqa’ area in Kutaf district while another four struck al-Malahedh and al-Hasamah areas, causing damages to public properties and the main road.

The raids caused huge damage to citizens’ properties and the main raid.

The Saudi aggression fighter jets also launched air raids on Belad al-Rous district of Sana’a province.

The fighter jets targeted a telecommunications network and Yemen’s satellite channel transmitting towers in Naqeel Yasleh area in Belad al-Rous with six raids.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
