The Yemeni army and popular committees managed on Saturday to destroy a Bradley vehicle and an Abrams tank in Najran region, a military official said.
A Specialized unit fired guided missiles on the Abrams tank at Rajla control site and the Bradley vehicle on al-Hammad site, he said.
The missile force bombed a Saudi soldier gathering in al-Makhrouq military site killing and wounding many of them, he added.
He pointed out the military operations of the army and popular committees are going to continue to target the Saudi aggression till stopping its crimes against the Yemeni people.
Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
