Saudi Raids Kill Four as Military Aggression Intensifies

Four people were killed on Thursday in Saudi raids on Bani Hushaish district of Sana’a province, a local official said.

The official added the Saudi war jets targeted Yazid Mount in Bani Hushaish district with three raids.

The Saudi warplanes also destroyed a school in Wadi Saber area in Sehar district of Sa’ada province, a security official said.

The warplanes targeted the school with two air raids completely destroying the school.

The Saudi fighter jets also launched on Thursday air raids on Amran province.

The planes targeted al-Amaliqa military brigade and destroyed Barkan bridge in Harf Sufyan district, a local official said.

The raids cuts off the roads between Sana’a, Amran and Sana’a provinces.

The official said the Saudi fighter jets also launched many raids on al-Madraj area in al-Asha district, leaving huge damage to public and private properties in the area.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.

Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
