Local sources confirmed that al-Qaeda once again has taken control of Jaar in Abyan province after more than a month following the Saudi-led coalition’s claim that it has kicked out the terror group from the city.
The terror group remained in a number of provinces near Abyan, including Shabwa, Aden and Mukalla.
The return of the terrorist organization coincides with the reinforcement of the invading forces and military activity in these provinces under the umbrella of the fight against Al-Qaeda.
