The prime minister of Yemen’s exiled government has arrived in the southern city of Aden.
The arrival of Ahmed bin Dagher and a number of ministers Monday came hours after the city’s airport was attacked by militias, mostly disgruntled fighters who fought alongside the Hadi regime against the Houthi revolutionaries.
Officials say the militias tried to storm the airport, setting off clashes with airport security forces. One civilian was killed.
Bin Dagher will be staying at a presidential palace, officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the press.
