The Pacification and coordination Commission of the ceasefire in Marib said that fugitive Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi’s forces are tresponsible for the military escalation in the country, calling for the intensification of efforts and attempts to put pressure on the opposing party’s for the commitment to the agreements that have been agreed upon in Kuwait negotiations.
The Military Commission of the calm and the coordination of the cease-fire in Marib province also stated that Hadi loyalists are to be blamed for the military escalation which might have the effect of igniting the war and fighting again.
UN envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, described the violations of the cessation of hostilities in Yemen as unacceptable. Cheikh Ould after meeting with the warring Yemeni parties in Kuwait confirmed that the stability of the security situation in the country is a fundamental demand of the Yemeni people.
Ahmad also called on political parties to redouble their efforts to find a comprehensive political solution, because the tightening of political rope will increase complicated situation as he said.
Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, stressed his country’s support for the peace consultations. During a meeting with the Sana’a delegation, Al-Sabah stressed the need for those consultations, which may lead to ending the war and starting a new page based on partnership and compatibility.
