Saudi warplanes launched several airstrikes on Yemen’s Jawf province killing at least 11 civilians.

According to Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah news website, seven people were martyred when coalition airstrikes targeted the Al-Dahouk Institute in Ethnain Market in the Motoun district.

Meanwhile, 4 other civilians were killed when an air raid targeted two truckloads of cooking gas and food heading to the capital Sana’a.

Furthermore, aggression warplanes also launched a series of raids on Sirwah District in Marib province targeting three trucks.

Fighter jets also hit areas in the provinces of Taiz and Sana’a.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 8,300 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
