A series of explosions rocked Yemen’s largest southern city, Aden, on Saturday.
According to sources close to the Saudi-led coalition in the city, three blasts exploded near the political security building in Mansoura.
No one claimed responsibility for the blasts. However, the so-called Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) in Yemen is exploiting a persistent security vacuum and the absence of effective state institutions and is in the process of asserting itself as the dominant actor across much of southern Yemen.
