Clashes between members of the terrorist group Al-Qaeda and the Southern Movement militants erupted early on Wednesday in Yemen’s Lahij province.
According to media sources close to the Saudi-led coalition, a number of militants were killed from both sides.
The clashes come as infighting intensifies among the Saudi-led mercenaries as well as the absence of security in the southern provinces.
The so-called "Al-Qaeda" has seized control over vast areas of southern Yemen, including Lahij province and the city of Hota.
