The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees including the Ansarullah movement bombed Saudi sites in Najran and Asir and destroyed a Bradley vehicle in northwest Al-Zabadi village in Jizan, a military source said on Thursday.
The sites of Al-Bahtit, Matha’an, Al-Doud Mountain, Shabakat Al-Khouba and Malhama, Qura Al-Ghawiah, Qaem Zabid, Al-Qarn, as well asvthe Defense Compound and Al-Kars village came under retaliatory attacks.
The army and popular committees also launched missiles and shells towards the sites of Al-Tala’ah, heights of Rajla, Al-Shabaka, Khobash and Al-Hammad, as well as gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Al-Rabuah area in Asir.
Yemen has been under Saudi airstrikes on a daily basis since the regime in Riyadh launched its military campaign against the impoverished nation in late March, in a bid to undermine the Ansarullah movement and restore power to the fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a staunch Saudi ally.
Ansarullah revolutionaries, along with allied army units, are resisting against the unabated Saudi aggression by launching retaliatory attacks.
