The Coordination Authority for Children’s Rights Non-Governmental Organizations in Yemen has condemned the continuation of the Saudi-led military campaign as well as the air, land and sea blockade on the war-torn country.
The coordination of NGOs called on the international community and the Security Council to interfere to stop the aggression and prevent more civilian casualties that include children. The group also called for the lifting of the blockade and allowing relief and humanitarian needs access to the affected areas all over the country.
The organization added that the continued airstrikes and conflict have resulted in serious physical injuries to thousands of children in many provinces especially in education centers, health units and medical facilities.
The Coordination Authority for Children’s Rights Non-Governmental Organizations represents 45 civil organizations working in Yemen and is concerned with children rights.
