The Yemeni army backed by Popular Committees fired a Tochka ballistic missile on a Saudi naval base in the border area of Jizan in Saudi Arabia.
Field sources said that the army and the committees fired the ballistic missile on al-Wajeb naval force, the biggest military base in the border area with Yemen.
Additionally, the allied forces managed to fully control Tuwaileq height, which also lies in Jizan, the sources reported. The height is one of the major centers where Saudi border guards are positioned.
A Saudi-led coalition backed by the United States has been carrying out a military aggression on Yemen by launching deadly airstrikes against the country since March. The airstrikes have not been authorized by the UN.
As a result, Yemeni forces have been responding to the attacks.
The US-led Saudi aggression began in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former Yemeni President, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Saudi Arabia.
