Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies backed by the United States began to launch deadly airstrikes in Yemen on March 26, in an attempt to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Saudi Arabia.
The death toll of civilians has risen to at least 1,916, with another 4,186 civilians wounded since the escalation of the conflict in March in Yemen, according to the United Nations [UN] recently this week on Tuesday.
