The UAE-Saudi dispute in Yemen comes within the framework of implementing their plans and supporting the Takfir groups under the names of Hadharamiyya, Shabanian and other forces.

Where observers see that Saudi Arabia to improve its image in front of Arab and Western public opinion after committing its heinous crimes against the Yemeni people of women and children, isolation and destruction of infrastructure have pushed the UAE regime to the forefront to reduce the condemnations directed by some international organizations.

But the history of the conflict between them is very long and the disagreement under the ashes is greater and deeper, they are not friends and loved ones, but the immediate need for this temporary alliance.

The UAE and Qatar have fought against the Saudis, and the UAE has fought 57 battles against Saudi Arabia over the past 250 years. “The Saudis are not my dear friends, but we need to reach an understanding with them only,” said Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed himself in a leaked document. November 2010, which shows that the history of tribal conflict between the Al Saud and the sheikhs of the emirates is old and rooted, conflicts that arose over influence, domination and subordination, and later evolved into other forms of conflict.

In Yemen, these differences have a different picture, where the interests of the United Arab Emirates and each of them supports a party in his favor to control political and economic influence.

The Emiratis exploited the opportunity of Saudi Arabia’s failure in Yemen to support a separate region in southern Yemen, contrary to the Saudi vision of supporting the so-called Yemenite legitimacy of Abed Rabbu Mansour Hadi, which openly opposes the UAE’s orientations and attacks its men and policies in Yemen.

The UAE has also shown Saudi Arabia to be out of Riyadh’s control and could use several papers to pressure the alliance leadership through its port movements and the US military’s joint military operations in Yemen without informing or advising Saudi Arabia.

As the information suggests, the UAE’s movements in the region raise Saudi fears – day by day. The Saudis are in the process of a big plan to strike Emiratis and the increasing influence of the UAE militarily and financially in the region, this small country aspires to be on the throne.

The Emiratis fear the current Saudi plans to return to the pre-political coup against the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen, where they consider that this Saudi orientation will benefit the revival of the Brotherhood in the Yemeni arena once again; In the exclusion of former President Ali Saleh and his son (Ahmed) from the political game in Yemen.

In the wake of the Arab Spring revolutions in the region and the emergence of intimidation and terrorism in Syria and Iraq, differences in many issues, especially Yemen, Libya and Syria have increased due to conflicts of interest of both countries. The Saudi-Emirati dispute first surfaced in 2014 in Syria, when Western newspapers reported that US sanctions have been imposed on UAE companies for dealing with the Assad government and supplying it with equipment.
