Yemenis Wearing Sandals Prove Too Much For Saudi Soldiers

Earlier today, a convoy of Saudi Army troops aided by foreign mercenaries launched a head-on assault on the Ulaib mountain chain in Najran province in a bid to expel Houthi revolutionaries … from a series of high points that overlook much of southern Saudi Arabia.

However, the offensive backfired in a big way and proved fruitless after the Houthi-led Popular Committees and Republican Guard repelled the assault, not far from the Al-Khadra border crossing, and took out a couple vehicles, killing a number of Saudi-aligned troops.

According to a string a photos released by the official media wing of the Sana’a-based government, the Houthi combatants seized a few vehicles and forced the entire Saudi convoy to pull back to Saudi Arabia.

In January 2015, the Houthis reinforced their takeover of Sana’a, surrounding the presidential palace and other key points. At the time, President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and his cabinet ministers were put under house arrest.

The president escaped to the southern port city of Aden the following month and is now in Saudi Arabia. This war was started because of, you guessed it... OIL. The president had promised the US and UK Governments Yemen's natural resources to American and British corporations; however the people of Yemen disagreed and forced the president out.

Ever since then, the Americans and the Brits have employed and armed Saudi Arabia to relentlessly massacre civilians in an effort to subjugate Yemen into giving up their natural resources. Despite being poorly armed and outgunned in every way, the Yemenis have put up unprecedented resistance that every country should copy. The Yemenis have killed over 2,000 Saudi soldiers and have even attacked bases inside Saudi Arabia. Talk about brave people!
