The Yemeni army and its allies killed scores of the Saudi soldiers in kingdom’s southern Najran and Asir regions.
According to military sources Yemeni troops attacked Saudi positions in Alfawaz and Nashmah.
In the neighbouring Jizan province, Yemeni forces targeted the Saudi military camps of Alatar and Alzuaiter, killing and injuring scores of soldiers.
Other sites targeted in Jizan include Alsalah, Awjabah, Badi.
Yemenis have been carrying out similar attacks in retaliation to Saudi strikes, launched with the aim of undermining the Houthi Ansarullah movement and reinstating the country’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi - a staunch ally of Riyadh.
