Yemen’s Supreme Political Council (SPC) on Tuesday extended the presidential term of Saleh al-Sammad and his deputy Kasim Labozah to two new terms.
The resolution was taken based on the internal regulations of the council and approved by all council members.
The Supreme Political Council was established by the Houthi Ansarullah movement and the party of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh in July 2016.
