Yemeni Defense Minister Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi stressed that the Yemeni army backed by the popular committees managed to impose a new military situation in the fight against Saudi-led aggression.
In remarks published by the state-run news agency Saba, the minister stressed that such military situation is in favor of the Yemeni allied forces.
“This major achievement is a victory for the general strategy adopted by the Yemeni army and the popular committees, who managed in a short time to change and to implement its military plans,” Saba quoted al-Atifi as saying.
“From now on, the aggression forces have to know well that our strategy is capable of containing all their hostile attacks,” the minister added.
He noted that the new equation imposed by the Yemeni army and the committees enables the allied forces of carrying out qualitative and swift attacks on targets in the Saudi depth.
