The President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council (SPC) Saleh Al-Sammad said the differences between the Persian Gulf countries come within the context that the Saudi regime wants Qatar to remain under its firm tutelage.
Sammad said the move came after the recent visit of the US president to Saudi Arabia, during which Riyadh bought from Washington the right of guardianship over the region's countries.
The Yemeni official advised the countries of the region to free their people from Saudi domination and preserve the interests of their peoples and the independence of their countries' decision.
