Yemeni Army, Popular Committees Conduct Successful Raids against Saudi Forces

Frontlines remain active both in Yemen and in neighboring border regions of Saudi Arabia as violent clashes between Yemeni forces and Saudi-led Arab coalition continue.

In Taiz province, southern Yemen, fighters of the Ansarullah movement repelled an attack on the Republican Palace area and thwarted an infiltration attempt west of Al-Tashrifat military camp. Heavy clashes lasted several hours ending in retreat of the mercenaries of Saudi after they had suffered high casualties.

Likewise, a missile division of Yemeni Army loyal to the Sana’a government launched a “Zilzal-2” type surface-to-surface missile towards gathering of Saudi-backed forces in Mouwaza’.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni army and popular committee fighters continue launching retaliatory attacks against the Saudi Army in the border regions of the Kingdom.

In Najran province, the allied Yemeni forces successfully ambushed a Saudi vehicle killing the soldiers inside and setting the vehicle ablaze afterwards.
