At least 23 civilians were killed on Wednesday by an airstrike carried out by the Saudi Arabia-led Arab coalition in southwestern Yemen.

The bombing took place in the district of Mawza' in the Yemeni province of Taiz, where the planes targeted a truck transporting civilians.

The victims, including women and children, were returning from a market in the region of al-Barh, located in the same province.

A local official told the state-run news agency Saba that three children and six adults have not been identified.
