Yemen’s Supreme Political Council on Tuesday held its regular meeting headed by President Saleh Al-Sammad.

The meeting -also attended by the SPC’s deputy Dr. Kassem Lubaza- focused on the cholera epidemic plaguing the country.

The officials discussed the steps to be taken by the authorities to resolve this issue.

The meeting also called for an investigation to the source of the spreading. The SPC also directed all the state's bodies and institutions to act to confront the epidemic that has killed more than 115 people since March.

A number of committees also suggested the authorities cooperate with the media to unite the national and internal front to face the Saudi-led aggression.

Meanwhile, the meeting reviewed the current political developments in the southern part of Yemen, including the so-called" the transitional Council in Aden", condemning the Coalition’s aims to divide the country.

The Supreme Political Council affirmed the state's unity, rejecting all calls to divide the country by any means.
